How Does Agar Demolish Work?
Agar Demolish is a low foaming stripper that gives a fast, complete attack on sealer and wax films, leaving the floor stripped and ready for re-coating. The speed and depth of its reaction reduce the need for machining, saving time on the job. Because it is so concentrated, it must be diluted correctly for the job at hand: using too strong a mix on a thin, strippable sealer film can leave the floor very “hungry,” meaning it will need 2-3 extra coats of sealer afterward to re-establish a glossy base.

Agar Demolish is diluted according to how heavy the old coating is. On sensitive floors such as sheet vinyl, rubber or timber, dilute to half strength (double the water shown below).

Rinse the floor three times with clean water; adding vinegar or Agar Neutraliser at 1:200 to the middle rinse helps neutralise any residual alkalinity before re-coating.
