Glass & Window Cleaners

Glass Cleaner in Bulk for Melbourne Cleaning Teams

Our glass cleaner range is made up of Agar formulas for windows, mirrors, glass doors, display cases and chrome fittings, supplied in commercial sizes for refilling trigger bottles. It is used by contract cleaners, retail stores, offices, gyms, hotels and car yards in Melbourne where smear-free glass is part of the first impression.

Each window cleaner in the range has a slightly different focus, from fast evaporation for busy shopfronts to products that also handle chrome and mirrors in washrooms.

Getting Streak-Free Results

Most streaking comes from technique, equipment or water quality rather than the chemical itself. A few habits make a noticeable difference:

• Use the right cloth: a clean, dedicated glass microfibre cloth leaves less lint than paper or cotton rags.
• Do not over-spray: a light mist is enough; heavy application leaves residue that dries into streaks.
• Avoid direct sun: glass that is hot or in full sun dries the solution before you can wipe it off.
• Squeegee large panes: for shopfront windows, wash with a strip applicator and finish with a squeegee, wiping the blade between strokes.
• Keep bottles labelled: when decanting from bulk, label each trigger bottle and keep the SDS accessible to staff.
• Check special glass: tinted film, coated or anti-glare glass may have manufacturer care instructions, so confirm compatibility first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a commercial glass cleaner different from a household spray?

Commercial products are generally sold in larger containers for decanting into labelled trigger bottles, which reduces packaging and suits teams cleaning large areas of glass every day.

Can I use window cleaner on mirrors and chrome?

Many glass cleaners are suitable for mirrors and chrome, but check the label. Agar Venue and Agar Bellevue specifically mention these surfaces.

Why does my glass still look smeary after cleaning?

Usually because of too much product, a dirty or fabric-softened cloth, or cleaning in direct sunlight. Change cloths often and use less solution.
