Vehicle & Automotive Care

Truck Wash and Vehicle Care Chemicals – Melbourne Wholesale

This range supplies truck wash detergent and vehicle care chemicals in bulk for fleet depots, transport operators, car yards, detailers and workshops. Alongside the vehicle products sit heavy-duty laundry chemicals that suit depots washing workshop rags, towels and uniforms in-house. Nova Supply sells every line at wholesale rates to operators across Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Container sizes run from 500mL up to 200L drums, so a small detailing business and a large fleet yard can both order the volume that suits their wash bay.

How to Choose Vehicle Wash Chemicals

Match the detergent to the soil and the wash method. Heavily soiled trucks, trailers and plant usually need a concentrated, high-foaming truck wash applied through a pressure washer or foam lance, while passenger cars with light road film can use a milder car wash detergent at a weaker dilution. Always follow the dilution ratio on the label and test on a small area of paint, decals and trim before full use.

Work out of direct sun. Washing on hot panels can cause the solution to dry and spot before it is rinsed, so work in shade or in sections and rinse thoroughly.

Finish and protect. A dressing for vinyl and rubber helps restore trim, and many operators use one as a tyre shine. Check the label for suitable surfaces and keep dressings off pedals, steps and other surfaces where grip matters.

Safety and runoff. Keep the Safety Data Sheet on file, wear the gloves and eye protection the label lists, and wash vehicles where runoff is captured or directed to an approved drain, in line with local water authority rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can truck wash be used on cars?

Many truck wash products can be diluted further for lighter work, but check the label for suitable surfaces and dilution rates before using it on passenger vehicles.

What size should a fleet depot order?

Sites washing several vehicles daily often prefer 20L or 200L containers, while smaller operators may find 5L easier to handle and store.

Why are laundry products in this category?

Many depots and workshops launder rags, towels and uniforms on site, so we group these Agar laundry chemicals with vehicle care for convenience.
