Agar 3D-Gloss is a super-glossy floor polish for vinyl, timber and stone floors. It is applied neat as a base finish and buffs up easily under UHS (ultra-high-speed) buffing machines to deliver a crystal-clear, dazzling gloss, making it a popular choice for supermarkets and other busy retail floors.

How Does Agar 3D-Gloss Work?
Agar 3D-Gloss dries to form a colourless, tough, modified acrylic, metal cross-linked film with an outstanding gloss level and a very high degree of scratch repair when burnished. Floors coated with Agar 3D-Gloss achieve peak gloss after only one or two buffs and retain their sparkle through the day thanks to the high abrasion resistance of the polymer. It is applied neat, with no dilution, and offers the flexibility of being buffed by gas or electric buffers thanks to its high burnish response.
How to Apply Agar 3D-Gloss
Strip any old finish first, then flood-rinse the floor. On vinyl, burnish and fringe-mop to remove dust before sealing. On terrazzo, marble or polished concrete, apply one coat of a suitable base sealer first.
Apply Agar 3D-Gloss neat using a fringe mop or bucket mop. Apply 2-3 coats once the base coat is tack-free (4 coats in total), then after 2-7 days apply 2 more coats for 6 coats in total. Use soft buffing pads for the first week, then switch to UHS pads such as Jackeroo Lite. Do not apply Agar 3D-Gloss when the floor temperature is 9°C or below.

To recoat a worn film, strip with a suitable stripper at 1:20 dilution using blue pads before reapplying. Agar 3D-Gloss is compatible with UHS burnishing, though Agar does not publish a specific rpm ceiling for this product.
What Surfaces Can Agar 3D-Gloss Be Used On?
Agar 3D-Gloss should be used on vinyl tiles, sealed timber, sealed terrazzo, sealed marble, terracotta, slate, linoleum and brick floors. It is not recommended for non-porous ceramic or porcelain tiles without a tape adhesion pre-test; ask our team for advice on a suitable alternative, such as Agar Stone Block, for these surfaces.
