Detail Work With Glitterpad Hand Pads
Floor machines cover open areas well, but they cannot reach into the corners, along skirting boards or up the face of a stair. That is where a hand pad like the Glomesh Glitterpad earns its place. Fitted to an Edco scourer pad holder, it lets cleaners work edges and spots by hand with a soft to medium action that removes less finish than a harsher scourer, which helps protect the floor coating while still lifting marks.
Having all five colours on hand makes it easier to choose the right level of scrubbing for each task:
- Start with a gentler pad for routine edge cleaning and step up only if marks remain.
- Keep a set of colours in the cleaning kit for skirting, corners and stair treads.
- Rinse pads after use so trapped grit does not mark the next surface.
