Where Agar Methylated Spirit Fits in a Daily Cleaning Round
Cleaners often keep a bottle of methylated spirit on the trolley for the small jobs that general detergents leave behind. Sticky residue where tape has been peeled off, smudged cosmetics on vanity benches, hand prints on glass and greasy fat marks all respond well to a quick wipe, and because it dries fast and clear, glass and other hard surfaces are left without streaks to buff out. Its germ-killing action also makes it a practical extra step when wiping toilet seats and other washroom fittings.
- Spot-clean stray marks on windows and glass partitions between full washes
- Lift adhesive tape residue from hard surfaces after notices or signage come down
- Wipe toilet seats and fittings as part of a washroom check
- Tackle some types of ink marks before they spread
The 5L size (METH5) suits decanting into smaller spray bottles, while the 20L (METH20) is better for sites that go through it in volume. Wholesale customers can request a quote for either size.
