What Is Agar Protector?
Agar Protector is a water-based carpet and upholstery protection treatment formulated to help prevent soiling and staining by creating a protective barrier around individual fibres. This invisible shield helps reduce the penetration of liquids, oils and dirt, making spills easier to manage and helping maintain the appearance of carpets and fabrics.
Manufactured by Agar, Protector is widely used by professional carpet cleaners and facility maintenance teams seeking long-term carpet care solutions.

How Agar Protector Works
Agar Protector uses advanced fluoropolymer protection technology to coat carpet and upholstery fibres with an invisible barrier. This treatment helps prevent liquids and soils from bonding to the fibres, allowing spills to remain on the surface longer and making cleaning easier.
Once cured, the protective layer helps maintain the appearance of carpets while reducing the risk of permanent staining from common contaminants.
